Making a stop at the Café Restaurant
Fornace of Artogne (Bg), it breathes the air of the good old days
and it tastes the original culinary proposal. You mark a destination
on your notebook of trip, the Valcamonica.
Interesting not only for the landscapes that
it offers, it is the valley that separates The Ortles from the Adamello,
but above all because it was inhabited, from the neolithic to the
age of the iron, from the Camuni, famous people for the incisions
of rockart still today visible in the two centers of Capodiponte
Hea and Luine. The incisions represent solar symbols, arms, scenes
of shoot, of job and cult and they are work of these ancient inhabitants
of Valley that were subdued from the Romans in the 16° a.C.
Crossed from the Oglio river and flanked by the Alpi Orobie and
Adamello, the Valley stretches for about 90 kilometres between the
footstep of Tonale and Iseo Lake, and it is the itinerary preferred
from the tourists to reach Monte Campione and Aprica. But it also
entertains on its territory famous centers of vacation

for the waters and for the winter sports like
Boario therme and Ponte di Legno.
Your trip, once gone out from
of the Milan-Venice highway at the tollgate of Bergamo, can very
well begin from the Lake of Endine, where in October impassioned
fishermen arrive from all Europe for the fishing to the carp. The
attractive little pond reflects a luxuriant vegetation in its waters
and presents numerous landings and proper little beaches for whoever
wants to do a turn in boat, in wind-surf or take the sun. The charm

Like you will have understood, Valcamonica,
one of many Brescia valleys is above all a valley of transit, but
it deserves an episode also only to admire the scene of shoot to
the buck, one of most famous rock incisions of the iron age of Capodiponte.

the names of streets and squares.
